Apple TV+ is currently airing several of the best shows on TV, regardless of streamer. One of them, Slow Horses, just wrapped up its fourth season. But the spy thriller is already looking ahead to the future. The first season 5 trailer is now available, but only if you know where to look.

Slow Horses is widely regarded as one of the best shows on Apple TV+, and its fourth season was no exception.
Way before season 4 even started, Apple announced that Slow Horses would be getting a season 5 too.
Now, the company has released the first trailer for season 5 too. You wonβt find it on YouTube, or even as a standalone trailer in the Apple TV app.
Instead, Apple has attached the season 5 trailer to the end of the season 4 finale.
Stick around after the last scene in season 4, and youβll be treated to a first look at the action and intrigue coming in season 5βexpected in 2025.

In season five of βSlow Horses,β everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, βLondon Rulesβ should always apply.
Slough House novels provide potential for several more seasons
Fortunately, the team behind the show has plenty of source material to draw on. Each season is based on a different novel in Mick Herronβs βSlough Houseβ series.
The just-ended season 4 was based on the fourth book in the series, Spook Street, and season 5 will naturally tell the story of book 5, London Rules.
Slow Horses fans will be glad to know that there are eight novels in the series, plus several novellas that could serve as spin-off series. So if viewers keep loving Slow Horses, Apple is likely to keep producing new seasons.
