MLS Season Pass announces free promos with T-Mobile and Comcast, new Sunday night games

-

Apple today unveiled its plans for the upcoming 2025 Major League Soccer season, through its MLS Season Pass service. The subscription provides worldwide unrestricted access to all MLS games, with no blackouts. The 2025 season officially kicks off on February 22, but you can subscribe now to see preseason games including LAFC vs Liga MX on February 11, and Inter Miami vs Orlando City on February 14.

This season, there’s a new featured game fixture on Sunday nights branded as β€˜Sunday Night Soccer’. Sunday Night Soccer games will also be available to stream for free for all Apple TV+ subscribers.

While most games will still be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the new Sunday Night Soccer games help spread out the schedule, and highlight a featured fixture. Sunday Night Soccer will include dedicated studio programming, pre- and postgame shows and bespoke graphics packages, with broadcasts in English and Spanish.

In addition to the Apple TV+ perks, MLS Season Pass is also announcing new promotions with T-Mobile, Comcast and DIRECTV.

Firstly, T-Mobile customers will be able to redeem a free subscription to MLS Season Pass, covering all games across the 2025 season. This promotion was previously available in 2023, but was notably absent last year. It’s nice to see this return. T-Mobile customers can redeem their free subscription using the T-Life app, starting February 18.

Next, Apple is also partnering with Comcast to offer Xfinity customers a new integrated viewing experience for MLS Season Pass. This partnership will see live streams available directly through the Xfinity user interface, without having to open the Apple TV app. It will even be included directly in the channel guide.

Xfinity members can sign up to MLS Season Pass directly through their account to see all games. However, as a free perk, MLS 360 will be available to watch for free for Xfinity customers. MLS 360 is the league’s whip-around show, which covers highlights and key plays from all live broadcasts on match days. The full MLS Season Pass subscription will also be entirely free for the season’s debut week, though Xfinity.

Similarly, DIRECTV customers can also subscribe to MLS Season Pass directly through DIRECTV. Games will be available to watch live on satellite channels 480 through 495. Like Xfinity, DIRECTV customers will also be treated to a free first week of MLS Season Pass, running from February 22 through March 1.

As always, full-season MLS club season ticket holders can also redeem one free subscription to MLS Season Pass.

Regular MLS Season Pass pricing remains the same. You can sign up for $14.99 per month, or $99 for a full season pass. Apple TV+ subscribers get a discounted rate; $12.99 per month or $79 per season. A single subscription can be shared with up to six family members using Family Sharing.
