A French retailer has leaked a possible release date for the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, and it looks like thereβs not long to wait. If itβs true, then the new gaming GPU that could dominate the middle ground will be here in just a few days.
Nvidia already confirmed a February 2025 release window for the RTX 5070 Ti following the CES 2025 trade show, where some of the best graphics cards of this new generation were unveiled, including the new flagship RTX 5090. The GPU maker hasnβt confirmed the date itself, but another RTX 5070 Ti launch date rumor a few weeks ago also pointed to the same launch date.
Sales pages for RTX 5070 Ti cards on French retailer TopAChatβs website from a number of different board partners are now listed with a reported βcoming soonβ date of February 20 at 3pm CET / 6am PST / 9am EST, meaning a launch date for the new card could happen in just ten days. Nvidia isnβt producing a Founders Edition card for the RTX 5070 Ti, meaning that youβll only be able to purchase a card produced by a third-party manufacturer.
While Nvidia hasnβt confirmed the release date, we do have some idea of the GPUβs power once it launches. The RTX 5070 Ti specs will feature 8,960 CUDA cores, an increase of 1,100 over the RTX 4070 Ti. It will also get a boost in VRAM compared to the 4070 Ti, with the 5070 Ti coming with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, an improvement over the slower 12GB GDDR6X memory used in the RTX 4070 Ti, although the RTX 4070 Ti Super did also come with 16GB of VRAM.
Nvidia says the recommended price of this GPU is $749 for the most basic model, a drop of $50 compared to the RTX 4070 Ti when it was released. However, as weβve seen so far with RTX 5090 stock and RTX 5080 stock, these new Nvidia cards are selling out fast, and you could end up paying more for your new GPU than you expect to as a result, at least for the moment.
With days to go until this rumored release date, weβll be waiting in anticipation to see what Nvidia has cooked up with this card.
