Save a massive $80 on these NZXT AIO CPU coolers with screens, if you’re quick

-

We’ve just spotted some amazing deals on NZXT AIO coolers on Amazon right now, enabling you to save $80 on a range of the company’s fancy designs with screens built into their waterblocks. This CPU cooler deal not only enables you to prevent your CPU from overheating, and reduce noise with a new NZXT Kraken Elite cooler, but also to personalize your PC’s interior with a customizable screen on top of your CPU.

We gave the RGB 360mm version of this cooler a score of 9/10 in our NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB review, praising its great looks, low-noise operation, and tremendous cooling abilities, but criticized its “eyebrow-raising” price. However, now you can have your cake and eat it, picking up one of the best CPU cooler designs around for just $159.99 if you buy the 240mm model, or $199.99 for the mighty 360mm version. Bear in mind that these deals are for the non-RGB models of this NZXT cooler, so there’s no lighting on the fans, but you do still get a fancy screen.

Speaking of which, the 2.36-inch LCDs on these coolers’ waterblock/pump units can be customized using NZXT’s CAM software, thanks to a cable that hooks up to one of your motherboard’s USB 2 headers. You get a 640 x 640 resolution, as well as a surprisingly smooth 60Hz refresh rate, and you can either use it to display real-time stats from your system, such as your CPU or temperature, or to display your choice of animated GIF or static picture.

It’s a completely superfluous add-on for a CPU cooler, of course, but there’s no denying that is does look really cool. If you like to show off your PC’s innards behind a tempered glass panel, with plenty of RGB lighting, then this cooler really does look the business.

Three NZXT Kraken Elite coolers are on offer right now, starting with the $159.99 240mnm model, which will be compatible with most of the best PC case designs available at the moment – just check your manual to make sure it can house a 240mm radiator – we recommend fitting it in the roof if possible.

Meanwhile, the 280mm model is going for $169.99 (and an amazing £134.99 in the UK) and will give you a bit more cooling power, meaning you can run the fans at slower speeds and get the same performance as the 240mm model, and reduce noise. However, not all cases have two 140mm fan mounts next to each other, so check your manual first. Even the 360mm model is on offer at the moment, going for $199.99, and requiring three 360mm fan mounts with room for a radiator.

All the coolers are compatible with the best gaming CPU models right now, including Intel LGA1700 chips such as the Core i9 14900K, and AMD Socket AM4 and AM5 CPUs, such as the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. NZXT even says the coolers will work with Intel’s new LGA1851 socket using the LGA1700 mounts, meaning you could fit one to the new Intel Core Ultra 7 265K.

Amazon describes these offers as limited-time deals, though, so you’ll want to get in quick if you’re thinking of buying one. If these coolers aren’t quite right for your needs, check out our guide to the best AIO cooler, where we take you through all our favorite models at a range of prices.
